Rightmove's figures come from its 2020 marketing guide, so treat them as guidance. Sites change their rules, so check the upload form before you publish.
Why we never enlarge photos
Making a small photo bigger doesn't add detail, it just makes it blurry at a larger size. If a photo is too small, the resizer tells you so. The fix is to use the original file from your phone, which is almost always big enough.
Questions about the resizer
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Resizing happens in your browser and nothing is sent to ProLister or stored. Close the page and the photos are gone from it.
Can I use iPhone HEIC photos?
Yes. HEIC photos are converted to JPEG, which every listing site accepts.
What happens to the location data in my photos?
Phone photos often store the GPS location where they were taken. Every file the resizer makes has that data, and other hidden photo data, removed.
Will resizing make my photos look better?
It makes them the right size and shape, so sites don't crop or squash them. It doesn't fix dark rooms, colour or crooked lines. That's what ProLister's enhancer does, without adding or removing anything in the room.
Which size should I pick for Zillow or Facebook Marketplace?
Use 'Other sites'. We haven't found official size rules we can confirm for those sites, so this is our default: 3:2 landscape at up to 2400 x 1600 px, under 5 MB.
